It is reported that the using of LED is more and more widely.There is two production methods of the white LEDs,one the cost is too high , the other is short life-span.It limits the development of the LEDs industry. Recently, in Germany,the researchers of Nuremberg- Erlangen university made use of the fluorescent protein materials, developed a new production technology, made the production of white LEDs be simple and cheap, safe and environmental protection, also make the product much more longer life-span. They said the new production technology is expected to be applied to the next generation of LEDs industry.
